Evidence-based psychological support, delivered by telehealth to adults across NSW.
Personalised, evidence-based psychological support for adults (18+), tailored to individual goals and circumstances. Sessions draw on cognitive-behavioural therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, mindfulness and resilience-based approaches, and are focused on practical, meaningful change. Common presentations include anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma, and adjustment difficulties.
Clear, structured evaluations. Comprehensive assessments and reports for mental health, diagnostic and workplace requirements, prepared to a standard suitable for referrers, insurers and rehabilitation providers.
Independent psychological assessments and reports prepared for solicitors, insurers and other third-party referrers, drawing on extensive experience conducting functional capacity evaluations. This work is billed separately from clinical sessions, at a rate reflecting the time and complexity of report preparation rather than Medicare or SIRA scheduled fees. Enquiries welcome from solicitors and insurers regarding scope, turnaround and cost for a specific matter.
Specialist recovery guidance for clients navigating a workplace psychological injury, WorkCover claim, or return-to-work planning. Shade Tree Psychology is a SIRA approved provider and works directly within the RTW process rather than around it, liaising with rehabilitation providers and insurers as required.
Shade Tree Psychology also welcomes DVA clients — DVA Veteran Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as payment upon a GP referral. Ryan has extensive experience working with the veteran community through DVA-funded rehabilitation.
Referrals are accepted from GPs, psychiatrists, insurers, rehabilitation providers, and directly from clients. See the Referrers page for details, or view current fees and referral pathways.
